Hydro Development Consultant Since February 2013 • Development of hydro and transmission projects in Africa • Aediles Capital - identification and development of energy projects for North and South America • Various – assistance with preparation of bids for engineering services for large international consulting firms and contractors Vice-President, Business Development at SNC-Lavalin August 2010 - January 2013 (2 years 6 months) From August 2010 to January 2013, I managed the Business Development group for the Hydro Montreal Division, including marketing, proposals, expressions of interest, account management, market research, and related administrative tasks. The group consisted of four Vice-Presidents, including myself as the head of the group, Proposal Managers, Business Development Assistant, Marketing Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Translator & Knowledge Base Specialist. Project and Proposal Manager for turnkey projects, Hydro Division at SNC- Lavalin 1999 - August 2010 (11 years) • Managed Cojedes and Trujillo/Valera projects in Venezuela. • Managed various proposals for projects in Canada, Turkey, Angola, and India. Resident Civil Engineer at SNC-Lavalin November 1993 - September 1996 (2 years 11 months) • Resident Engineer seconded to the James Bay Energy Corporation (SEBJ), responsible for ensuring the conformity of construction to the plans and specifications of the designers for permanent and temporary works, for all disciplines. Site Civil Engineer at Redpath Consultants January 1977 - December 1979 (3 years) • I worked on the turnkey construction of the Ferke 2 Sugar Estate in the Ivory Coast for 2 years, January 1977 to December 1978, as a Site Civil Engineer. Part of the time I was inspecting and following the work of our main civil works subcontractor for the plant plus various subcontractors for housing and ancilliary buildings, and part of the time I was managing a group of up to 150 people designing and constructing various infrastructure projects on site. The group consisted of technicians, buyer, clerks, construction supervisors, foremen, skilled and unskilled labour. • For all of 1979, I worked on the AgriLagdo Experimental Farm in Cameroon as the Civil Engineer responsible for designing and constructing the infrastructure for the farm, including office, laboratory, workshop, diesel plant, storage, housing, roads, drains and irrigation. I was managing a group of up to 150 people designing and constructing various infrastructure projects on site. The construction group consisted of buyer, clerks, construction supervisors, foremen, skilled and unskilled labour.
